Collective Conflict — how to play
Hex strategy for 1–10 players: build a network of units, hide your Mothership among decoys, and find opponents in the room browser or quick match.
Objective
Be the last active Network. A network falls when the real Mothership is surrounded on all six sides.
Rules and controls
- The server draws the first player — the host does not automatically move first; the turn order runs around the table.
- Within your first three moves place a Mothership or a Decoy: that activates your Network and unlocks unit movement.
- Every new unit must connect to your own Network, and no move may split the structure into two parts.
- Before the match pick one time mode: no limit, a shared pool for the whole match, or a per-move limit — the server rules all clocks.
Practical tips
- A Decoy and a Mothership look identical to opponents — keep bluffing until your real Mothership is on the board.
- In the powerup variant pick up P only after finishing a move: abilities usually decide the mid-game.
