Mini Golf — how to play
Eighteen mini golf holes on one rolling engine: angle, power, wall bounces and water that costs a stroke. Alone against par, up to four locally, or online.
Objective
Get the ball into the cup in as few strokes as possible; after the full round the lowest total wins.
Rules and controls
- Aim with the cursor on the course or the arrow keys (fine turn, even finer with Shift); power comes from the slider or the up and down arrows.
- Every shot passes the turn to the next player, and the worst score on a hole plays first on the next one.
- Walls and rails bounce the ball — the aim preview only draws a straight line, the bank is yours to work out.
- Water costs one penalty stroke and returns the ball to where it was played from.
- Every hole has its own cushion shape — capsule, hourglass, hook, horseshoe, ring — and the cup measures 150% of the ball: it drops only once more than half of the ball's outline hangs over the cup.
- After eight strokes on a hole the pin is lifted — eight is what enters the total.
- Play nine or eighteen holes; the same engine runs in the browser and in the room server.
Practical tips
- Sometimes banking in off a wall is cheaper than going straight across the water.
- Hit below full power: an overhit ball rolls past the cup and costs another stroke.
- Alone against par, mind the eight-stroke cap — one hole can spoil a whole round.
